The Twelve Apostles, in Spanish, "The Twelve Apostles," is the name designating a grouping of limestone needles protruding from the sea off the coast of Port Campbell National Park, along the route "Great Ocean Road "in Victoria, Australia.
The proximity of each other is the cause of the curiosity of the place and what has made an important and popular tourist attraction, the site was called the Sow and Piglets (The sow and piglets) Muttonbird Island, near Loch Ard Gorge was the "pig" and needles smaller rock the "suckers" .1 the name was changed in the 1950s by the current, more majestic, reminiscent of The Twelve Apostles Bible. It was made to attract more visitors to the state.
